At this point, CeCe really had tried everything; a pointless conversation with her parents that’d done nothing more than piss her off, a new tattoo, sex with multiple people, including Alejandría. She’d even gone ahead and dyed her hair, for some deluded reason thinking that would help at all. She liked the change, and it made her feel good about herself, but the novelty had worn off after only a couple hours, and all she could think about was whether Alejandría would like it or not. Her final attempt at getting over this relationship was taking her sister’s advice. If that didn’t work, she didn’t know what she’d do. Maybe she’d just have to accept that she’d never move on, and maybe that just had to be okay.
Wearing a baggy, faded denim jacket over her clothes with pockets big enough to hold her battered notebook, which was usually filled with doodles and random tattoo designs, CeCe had headed for her sister’s place. Dani had the music, which she’d been working on and had sent to CeCe to work into her song, while CeCe had the lyrics scribbled down in the back of her notebook. Any other time, she would’ve felt way out of her depth here, but her sister knew what she was doing, and if it would help, CeCe was willing to try it.
As she usually did, she let herself into Dani’s house without knocking, heading for her music room. In passing, she saw her sister in the kitchen, and told her, “We’re doing this song thing now. I need it,” then made her way to the room without waiting for a response. CeCe took her notebook from her pocket, opening it to the back and reading over her words as she waited for her sister to join her.

Grant was enjoying his time in Switzerland with Danielle and Matty so far. They hadn’t been there long but the three of them spent some time in the snow during the day and Grant was amused by how Matty reacted to it. He seemed to love it, even if he couldn’t do much in it yet. Deciding on finding a romantic restaurant to bring Danielle to, Grant found one that seemed cozy and intimate and they went with Matty. It was nice and they got to just enjoy each other’s company and spend time with their son. He felt a little guilty that Ali wasn’t with them but at least he knew she’d be having a good time with his mom.
Once they were finished eating, Grant held Danielle’s hand as he pushed the stroller that Matty was in in the other, making their way back to the hotel room. He was content with just spending the rest of the night in and putting the fireplace in their hotel room to good use while drinking some hot chocolate. When they got into their hotel room, Grant went straight to the fireplace to start getting it going. “If you want to make some hot chocolate, I’ll get this set up for us.” @hyfdanielle

Grant tried to finish work as quickly as he could, worried about Danielle all day long and wanting to get back to her. From the little he spoke to her, she didn’t seem to be making any progress and that made him panic even more. He knew it was probably just some bug but Danielle rarely got sick and he didn’t want it to be anything serious. Picking up some soup for her on the way home in case she got hungry, Grant made his way into their apartment and greeted the dogs, letting them out quickly and feeding them so that they would be occupied while he focused on his wife. He made his way upstairs into their bedroom and smiled softly. “Hey babe. How are you feeling?” @hyfdanielle

I can’t believe that actually just happened. I still have heart eyes. Way to go, man. You really took charge and one upped Caity which is hard to do. I’m impressed. Finding out that Danielle was on a break just like Grant was, he decided to make his way over to her trailer so that they could spend some time together. He was exhausted, putting a lot of work and long hours into this week and he was so glad that tomorrow was Friday, needing this weekend to recharge. Leaving the dogs in his trailer, Grant made his way over to Danielle’s, knowing she had Ali with her which would also be a plus. He knocked twice before walking inside, smiling tiredly at his wife. “Hey. Ready for some company?” @hyfdanielle
