Dave wasn’t sure what to think as he made his way through the house. Of course, Carter was already up, but thankfully, Burt was already watching him. “I’m going to go find Kurt, well, I mean, I know where he is, but I’m going to get him,” he announced, careful not to leak too much information so that he didn’t freak out Carter. Dave tiredly slipped on his shoes, trying to get a grasp on everything that was going on. How was it possible for Kurt to have forgotten everything about their lives? How was it possible for Kurt to think he was a senior in high school again? He felt his heart hurt a bit from the conversation they had been having so far. Dave hadn’t realized how long in his disappointment he was until he could see the swings ahead. Swallowing hard, he jogged up to the swings, eyes falling on his husband. Quietly, he slid into a seat. “Hey,” he murmured softly.
