It was almost as though Dizzy’s feet were moving against her will. Her rational mind told her to turn around, turn right back around towards her dorm, and stay there for the rest of the night. But there was something pulling at her inside, telling her to actually meet with Robin; see him face to face.
For a domme, she was certainly the masochist. Meeting Robin would only cause her more harm. A softer side to Dizzy wondered if he’d been telling the truth; there was something real in the letter she couldn’t quite describe with words. Maybe the part of her that liked to be tortured was the part of her willing to meet Robin at the gardens that night.
She approached the area first. Even in the dead of night, she could see no one else was there yet. Her hands were stuffed into her coat pocket; the gloves she was wearing were essentially useless. Standing alone, Dizzy shifted her weight on her feet in a futile attempt to warm herself up. She would give him five minutes. Five minutes, and then her rational mind could take over again. She could go back to the dorm and pretend this was some horrible nightmare.
