Dragon a Day #30: Artists choice!

For this one, I went with some of the dearly departed dragons of my lair. Whether I exalted or sold them, I regret doing it for these guys, so I wrote their tragedies into my lore to remember them by. From left to right, back to front: Rurbie, Moonstone, Faar, Aylin, and Tildahide.

Such is the end of Dragon a Day 2021! This was SUPER fun and I drew a lot of dragons in my lair that I hadn’t and maybe never would have. It was also really nice to have a relaxed daily challenge (as opposed to my cutthroat, vicious mentality during inktober). Big thanks to @seafaremarketplace for this event! Also thanks to anyone who reblogged or liked my somewhat daily doodles :) I hope we have one next year too!

i’ve decided

since there’s no information on Ostwick in the Free Marches, which basically gives me free ass reign anyway 

that they have their own local dialect that combines a lot of qunlat sounds (being the first place the Qun landed during an invasion) with bits of tevene and other languages that have stretched across Eastern Thedas 

mainly for the hilarity of my Inquisitor Faar yelling at a relative who has come to Skyhold in the home language and Dorian, Varric, and Iron Bull all trying to figure out what the H E L L they are hearing 

because they all recognize SOME of it but not ENOUGH of it.
