The Tsar's cup, or the Imperial cup designed by Fabergés, probably following the model of a sculpture of the Russian artist Eugene Alexandrovich Lanceray (1848-1886), entitled Royal Falconer, work in lost wax bronze, dated 1872, depicting a falconer from the time of Ivan the Terrible with a hunting falcon in hand, in the moment to stop the horse to launch the raptor into flight.
