sitting in my room thinking about rachel learning about santana and quinn's two-time-thing that santana calls 'quinn's first big trip out of that closet she calls home' when they're drunk and rachel getting super sick and annoyed and grossed out and mad and hurt and she would spend days after that giving santana the cold shoulder and acting like santana is actively set out to ruin her life when santana tells her good morning and that there's some of that gross vegan stuff she likes for her because santana's not entirely sure what she did to piss off rachel this time and maybe she got a little soft on berry so the other girl being pissed at her is making her feel weird and kind of hurt which is the weirdest part so she set out to get rachel something from her favorite spot near their place and rachel is like did you try to poison that too like you did with my whole life because she's like a drama queen and she's still annoyed but she's not that mad at santana anymore she's just kinda too committed to the bit right now and that gets santana to react and be like okay so what the fuck is going on because i dont think ive even tried to sneak anything into your food since like senior year and rachel is like wait what are you talking about and santana is like why are you mad at me berry what the fuck did i even do and rachel is like it's stupid and santana is like well let's hear it anyway and rachel is like i don't want to tell u because u will make fun of me and santana is like well that's a given on you doing just about anything rachel so its not an excuse and rachel is like well okay fine if you must know i think you should be eaten by a lion because you had sex with quinn when she was experimenting with another girl and santana would be like why in the fuck would you even be thinking about that at all but shes well aware why the fuck she would be doing that & she's now very much aware of why rachel's been acting like santana just got the part to play her understudy for funny fucking girl (could u imagine. THE HORROR) and rachel is like well because it should have been me instead of you and santana is like okay so please let me help you unpack that because i think thats one of my favorite things ive ever heard you say in all these long years of listening to u speak about shit i dont give a fuck about and ok maybe i should write glee fanfic this is me in my room right now 👇🏽

ok so i think quinn & santana should be switched here. quinn is a gaslighter because she convinced finn she was having his baby when they hadn't had sex and she's been known to manipulate men / people in general for a few weeks until it ultimately crashes & burns but still. she is a gaslighter at heart. girlboss isn't the word i'd use to describe santana at first but if you think about every single plan she's put in motion to either ruin someone's day or get revenge or simply stir shit up she is very much a girlboss. she also ran a good (to put it loosely) PR campaign for rachel in s5 so that definitely falls into that category imo. anyway. rachel is a gatekeeper for sure and the simplest example of this is when she sent sunshine to that (inactive) crackhouse so she wouldn't audition for glee because she was a good singer

when quinn and santana cheated off the votes at senior prom to make rachel prom queen and then they sang take my breath away and quinn got off the wheelchair to pull focus they are everything to me
