Nell had noticed Fabian when he walked by, as she had the many times he’d walked by as Head Boy last year. And she’d smile, sometimes wave awkwardly, and that seemed to consistently be their interactions. She’d been fine by that, but something in her today had her unusually chipper and eager for a conversation. She took a stab at it, holding up one of the teddy bears on the shelves, “Say your mum were pregnant. Chocolates or a teddy bear? Chocolates, huh?”

Location: Potter Estate

It had been two weeks since he had been at the Potter Estate on Order business. It was poor timing to join the organization fighting against He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named’s evil efforts, just as his mother had gotten sick back in Birmingham. However, he was assured his place would be saved for him in his return, as the Order of the Phoenix needed all the help they could get. And now that his mother was feeling better, Ted finally came back and after spending the day catching up with his wife Andromeda, it was time for him to check back in.

Ted apparated to the Potter Estate grounds, entering in the main door and began his search for Edgar Bones, who had been his main person for contact throughout the process. As he walked by the rooms and began his way upstairs, he felt an odd sense of emptiness and silence. Ted hadn’t visited the Estate many times at all, but it still felt odd. However, it was a passing thought, quickly thrown away as Ted felt his instinct was probably due to nerves or something of the sort.

Instead of finding Edgar, as he turned the corridor of the second floor, Ted encountered Fabian Prewett instead. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen his old, good friend’s face or the matching looks of his twin brother Gideon. After a small delay of realization, Ted’s eyes widened and he bore a grin as he called out towards him, “Fab, aye! It’s good to see you, mate!”

“I wished upon an asteroid and all it got me was this cup of gin.” Zelda sipped tentatively at it, hating the overall taste of Christmas it gave off. “It’d be rude of me to waste.”

“Are you in, or what?” Her brow was quirked as she held up the Honeyduke’s flyer. It read a term’s supply of your choice of sweet if you entered and won their contest, an eating contest in which you had to guess the flavors of sweets you were munching. As long as there wasn’t too much coconut involved, she was already deciding which over sized jumper she would wear for the occasion to hide the ‘sweets belly’. Perhaps she didn’t have it in the bag, but what else was there to do on a Monday night? Homework?

WHO: Pinky Parkinson and Fabian Prewett WHEN: Friday, March 3rd, 1978. 1:45PM. In between class. WHERE: Staircase

Pinky shuffled out of Professor Binn’s classroom, sighing underneath the weight of boredom. The sixth year Slytherins had History of Magic that day. She absolutely despised the class, though that was probably due to Professor Binns. Even the textbook was more lively than he was. She probably would like the subject if it weren’t for how terrible the instructor was. Unfortunately, she had no say over the matter. She sighed as she adjusted her handbag over her shoulders. She wasn’t sure how she was going to survive through Charms next period. She would have to rally. As she went down the Grand Staircase, she sighted someone familiar at the bottom, someone sure to boost her mood. With a small laugh, she quickened her pace down the staircase until she practically ran into the back of Gideon Prewett. She wrapped her arms around his waist from behind and pressed a light kiss to the back of his shoulder. “Hey, you! Have a few minutes to spare?”
