Icarus gets freaked out by a bruise or a sunburn, as they are terrified that it is them being recourupted.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<☆>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Icarus was, to put it simply, freaking out. Webs of pink and red worked up their arms, peeling and flaking in an all too familiar way that made Icarus sick to their stomach. They ran a scarred hand through their hair as they paced the length of their bedroom. They payed no mind to quixis as their floor changed from wood to shroomlights, and their lanterns changed to torches, walking over the changed flooring with anxiety-ridden steps. What are they going to do?!
"I... I need to tell Rae." They breathed, scratching the red skin, before pulling out their communicator. They looked down at it then back up at their inflamed arms. "Skrew it." They sighed.
They took off, flapping their wings frantically, trying to suppress the memories of flying over the endstone islands, spying on the others. They ended up almost crashing into Rae in their preoccupied state.
"Icarus? What?-" Rae started.
"Rae. It's back. It's back and I don't know what to do. Rae- I can't hurt you again-" Icarus rambled, practically breaking the others shoulder as they clinged to him. Rae froze, an expression of calculated terror painted on his face.
"Icarus, I-" Rae tried, only to be cut off again.
"Rae, I need you to keep me away from them. I.. i.." Sherb choked, reaching up and running their shaking hand through their hair. Rae stood, looking dumbstruck
"Icarus, why do you think it's coming back?" He asked his sibling tentatively.
They scratched at their arm, holding them out towards Rae. The arms were now bleeding from the alchemist's scratching, covering the peeling skin.
"Icarus, you..." Rae laughed. "Icarus that's a sunburn..."
"It..." They looked down at their arms, "Oh thank the gods-" he breathed, laughing. They wiped their eye, which had collected tears and blood and was now leaking tears of relief.
