I Had A Really Upsetting Thought!

So in the new Chronicles of Wonder premier thing release it shows the art of Fable…

He had golden feathered wings…

So I’m wondering if Icarus comes back from being Quixis will they still have their purple bits? Because if not they will also have golden feathered wings.

That will just be another reminder to Icarus about how alike their father and them are.

I also thought about like Fable’s greying hair and how Icarus’ is turning a bit white at the roots. That’s a thing that might not stay but if it did it could be suckish for Icarus.

I think we don’t talk about Icarus and gender enough

In the way that it was only when Fable was brought in that we saw He added to their pronouns (and I know that it could be in the way of this is them finding themself and who they’re meant/supposed to be, who they are, but I think it could also be twisted in an interesting way)

Because what Icarus is is Fable’s son. Child of Creation. Even now, they’ll always be in Fable’s shadow. With what they did. Even when they were forgotten it was always remembered that Quixis killed Fable.

I was listening to Brutus and the line of “My mother wishes she’d had a SON” is so interesting to me within that kind of coding of, Sherbert- who they were the majority of what they remember of their life- was not Fable’s son. They were occasionally child of creation but never had the same affiliation as being his SON and a prince and living with that weight of what their father wanted them to be (the perfect son, the perfect role model and mini version of him to be the next king) but they didn’t get the chance to be Isla’s kid.

They’re always Fables son. Creations child. Never Orchid’s. Not like Rae is.

Thinking about the chronicles of wonder third episode, where Violet mentions getting to see dae (I don't know how to spell) and getting a finger bitten off and my brain goes "is that a reference to the pinky incident? Where he accidentally cut off Aax's finger? And then had Icarus put it into a potion to get rid it and was never spoken about again"

I'm not mentally well, and for some reason that incident sticks with me and I need it to be talked about more. Like does Rea even know that it ever happened or did Violet and Aax keep it that much of a secret

yeah you guys are NOT meant to be siding with Icarus—

I said this on stream once, but the whole bit with c!sherbert is that they keep making the same mistakes in different ways and that was always the plan for the character.

In the first season they’re doing bad things not of their own volition or their knowledge. Corruption just showing their potential of things they could be driven to do.

For second season the do it again on unintentionally. In the highest and most emotional state they are driven to lock Centross in the prison as if it’s a reflex.

And in the third season they make the decision to be that way cause clearly- that’s all they ever do right?

This little guys mental state is just gonna be declining so hard now and you guys get to see exactly how and why!
