Book Review:
I love Adrienne Young. I’ve seen her at a couple of events and I love her writing, as well as her personality.
This book was exceptional. I think it was my favorite of hers. I won’t say too much about it, since it’s set in the Fable world, and I don’t think there are any spoilers, but I will avoid, just in case.
I loved all the characters. Adrienne creates such complex, beautiful characters. I loved the world too, it felt so Peaky Blinders-ish. Which I am SOOOO down for! The struggles of the characters were so interesting, their relationships with one another were great, the writing style was wonderful, the plot and themes were magnificent. And I actually loved the love story. I loved everything about this book. It was mystical and magical and so fascinating.
