Ok so I’m actually amazed whenever a post pops up on my dash complaining about how school health classes approach LGBT issues. Back when I was in highschool they just flat out were never discussed, health sex ed was purely a straight thing. The closest thing we ever got to LGBT education was a short HIV/AIDs video that happened to interview one gay guy.

Yeah it stinks that these courses are still coming up short when it comes to LGBT needs, but damn if it isn’t amazing to hear that LGBT stuff is actually coming up at all. That’s progress, albeit not fast progress.

So here’s a post I never expected to have to make

So I recently just had an issue with someone reposting my artwork to other sites. This is my official message to politely ask that you DO NOT do this for any reason, especially without permission. Art may just be a hobby for me, but I pour a lot of time and effort into it and would prefer that I be the only one to reap any sort of reward for it. Call me selfish all you want, I neither agree nor care with that analysis. 

Respect artists, and respect their rights to their work. Don’t repost, especially without explicit permission. And no, it isn’t free exposure, especially when you don’t bother to even credit the source.
