Molly/Astrid

Who cooks normally?: They take turns. If Astrid has to work late or Molly has an exam, the other picks up the slack.

How often do they fight?: Astrid's fire tends to bring out Molly's, so the arguments can get heated. It's not the worst thing in the world for foreplay though.

What do they do when they’re away from each other?:Astrid texts updates about Aria, and Molly texts during class when she's bored.

Who steals the covers at night?: It's a tug of war that usually ends in cuddling.

Who remembers things?: Astrid. Molly has too many things to do in a day, so sometimes the small things slip through the cracks.

Who cusses more?: Neither of them are big on it, especially with a baby around.

Who takes longer showers?: They're both quick, Astrid because she has a child to look after and Molly because she's probably almost late to something.

What’s their favorite place to go together?: When Aria is with her father, they might manage a nice dinner out or pizza and candlelight at home.

Who’s more likely to burn dinner?: Molly, but only because she's trying to multitask.

Who falls asleep on the couch?: Molly, usually over her homework.

Who sings in the shower?: Astrid, if she's in there long enough. She has a surprisingly good voice, and Molly usually teases/encourages her to sing more often.

Who plans date night?: They take turns, but most dates are a last-minute we-both-magically-had-the-night-off affair.

Who wakes up first?: They both have busy schedules, so it's pretty even.

Who drinks all of the coffee?: Molly. Molly. Molly. Morning Molly without coffee isn't very pleasant.

Who starts getting into holidays way before they should?: Astrid likes to make them special for Aria, and Molly is happy to join in when school allows.

Who initiates the couple selfies?: Astrid is the one to document the moment and keep the pictures for her daughter once she's grown up.

Who forgets the birthdays and anniversaries?:Molly's usually pretty good about keeping track of the big stuff, but she let an anniversary slip once and owed Astrid for weeks afterward.

Who cooks normally?:  

Sophie.

How often do they fight?:

Constantly, and it will continue until Howl draws her into a hug they both desperately need.

What do they do when they’re away from each other?:

Sophie continues on in her usual way.  Howl rushes through whatever he’s trying to do to get back to her, but don’t expect him to admit it. 

Who steals the covers at night?:

Howl.  Partly because he demands their attention and partly because he knows if they’re on top of him, Sophie will follow.

Who remembers things?:

Howl holds onto the more upsetting things, especially the mistakes he’s made that he feels guilty for.  Sophie forgives and generally doesn’t bear a grudge.  

Who cusses more?:

Howl, but he tends to do it more with flamboyant body language that says F*CK MY LIFE more than the actual words.  Sophie is rather proficient at steely glances because she’s also rather passive aggressive.

Who takes longer showers?:

You mean baths, right?  Howl.  No contest.  

What’s their favorite place to go together?:

On adventures.  In spite of her grumbling, the fact that Howl can show her extraordinary sights, and that he wants to, is one of the things she loves the most about him.

Who’s more likely to burn dinner?:

Howl, because he shouldn’t try to cook, but that doesn’t ever stop him.

Who falls asleep on the couch?:

Sophie, usually with sewing of some sort in her lap.  Howl watches her with a ridiculous little smile and then carries her to bed.  She mumbles hilarious things in her sleep and snuggles into him during the walk up the stairs and it’s one of his favorite moments of the day.  

Who sings in the shower?:

Howl mutters to himself and sometimes it has a bit of a rhythm, but that hardly counts as singing.

Who plans date night?:

Howl, and it’s usually way, way over the top.   

Who wakes up first?:

Sophie has always been an early riser, and it’s only gotten worse after the curse turned her into an old woman.  Howl is a night person, so he goes to bed late and wakes up when he pleases.  (Or at least, he did before being a council member in this world was a thing.)

Who drinks all of the coffee?:

Who drinks all the coffee or who cleans the pot before it’s empty?  Howl drinks more, but Sophie usually gets started on the dishes before he’s finished.  She has been known to take the mug from his hand if she’s not paying attention.

Who starts getting into holidays way before they should?:

Howl.  Things need to be flashy and coordinated.  He gets it out and sets it up, Sophie puts it away and curses the glitter under her breath.  He partly does it just to rile her up and hear the cursing.  He always gets her a nice gift or plans something extravagant to help her relax, though.

Who initiates the couple selfies?:

Howl, but only when he looks his best.

Who forgets the birthdays and anniversaries?:

Sophie isn’t likely to notice until days afterward.  Birthdays and anniversaries aren’t particularly important to her.  Howl is all about an excuse to give (or receive) gifts and to go out.

Who cooks normally?:  

They cook together.  Calcifer keeps Sophie from getting distracted and burning things and Sophie keeps Calcifer interested with guilt trips until she’s done.

How often do they fight?: 

Surprisingly little because it takes two to fight and they both lose interest.  They each make their own sharp comment in an instant when they’re displeased, but that is the end of the thing.  Generally, it isn’t each other they’re vexed with anyway.

What do they do when they’re away from each other?: 

They manage just fine.  Well, Sophie thinks she manages just fine and Calcifer thinks of the things they’ll likely have to help her correct upon on their return. 

Who steals the covers at night?: 

Sophie, of course, but Calcifer lets her and they don’t grumble about it.  Calcifer always runs warmer than she does anyway.  

Who remembers things?: 

Remembering depends upon how much attention one was paying in the first place.  Generally Calcifer, though they’ll turn things into riddles rather than express the memory outright.  Sophie.... is only selectively observant at best and her memory for most things is even worse.  On occasion, though, she remembers (usually something Calcifer wanted her to forget.) 

Who cusses more?: 

Neither are big cussers.  Calcifer is precise with their words and Sophie only cusses with her eyes. 

Who takes longer showers?: 

Probably Calcifer, though neither is particularly used to long showers after living with Howl. 

What’s their favorite place to go together?: 

Outside.  Sophie loves her garden, Calcifer loves fresh air.  Everyone wins.

Who’s more likely to burn dinner?:

Sophie due to distraction; Calcifer due to spite.

Who falls asleep on the couch?:

Sophie, usually with sewing of some sort in her lap.

Who sings in the shower?:

If one of them has to, it would be Calcifer, but neither of them really do.

Who plans date night?:

Calcifer plans (at the last moment), but Sophie prepares.  

Who wakes up first?:

Sophie stops short of cluttering the house with holiday-related decorations, as she can’t really stand to keep anything like that in storage, but she makes sure the house is tidy and the meals are prepared.  At the very least, the house will smell like the holiday and its appropriate treats.

Howl. (Yes, we know he isn’t part of ‘the couple.’  That doesn’t seem to matter.)

Who forgets the birthdays and anniversaries?: 

Calcifer doesn’t tend to track dates, so they’re the ones to forget.  Sophie isn’t likely to notice until days afterward, though.  Birthdays and anniversaries aren’t particularly important to her.

Who cooks normally?: Hatter could probably live mostly on tea and biscuits, so Annie's in charge if she wants actual meals.

How often do they fight?: They're bound to have their disagreements occasionally, but it's nothing too serious. They're both pleasant people overall.

What do they do when they’re away from each other?: They both have a business to run. Hatter might text her some quotes from whatever he's reading, and Annie might send selfies with the new animals at the shelter.

Who steals the covers at night?: They're both restless sleepers, so it's a toss-up.

Who remembers things?: Hatter's memory is surprisingly good for someone who spends a lot of his time stark, raving mad.

Who cusses more?: They're both pretty mild-mannered. He's prone to phrases like, "Tea and biscuits" and "Cats and hats," but they're usually positive expressions.

Who takes longer showers?: Hatter. He gets distracted counting tiles until the water gets cold.

What’s their favorite place to go together?: Neither of them are big on going places, but he likes hanging out with her at the shelter with all the fluffy things.

Who cooks normally?:Marian, though somewhat reluctantly. Richard maintains that chef wasn’t in his job description. Even so, she won’t let them get a private cook.

How often do they fight?:Fairly infrequently do they get into a full-blown argument. He has the uncanny ability to brush off the brewing of a fight with a simple and slightly uncommitted ‘that’s nice.’

What do they do when they’re away from each other?:Richard chases skirts and Marian practices targets on a picture of his face,

Who steals the covers at night?:Richard let Marian have them. Until she’s asleep that is, at which point he takes them back.Who remembers things?:Marian has the mind for it. Though Richard might make the effort if it’s something that interests him.Who cusses more?:Marian. Though rarely with words. She has a skill of making her eyes swear for her.

Who takes longer showers?:Richard. He loves to be pampered. Even if he has to do it himself these days.  

What’s their favorite place to go together?:A quiet spot in Sherwood Forest. While Richard was never the biggest fan of his country, sometimes it feels nice to relax somewhere that feels like home.

Who’s more likely to burn dinner?:Richard, just so they have an excuse to go out.Who falls asleep on the couch?:Marian’s slighter form means she can nestle between the enormous pillows of his couch and be lost for the world fro a few hours.

Who sings in the shower?:Marian, when she’s had a good day.

Who plans date night?:It tends to be Richard. He likes an opportunity to show off his taste.Who wakes up first?:Marian rises slightly earlier. Richard tends to leave it until the last minute. Who cooks normally?:Lottie, if they don’t want ketchup sandwiches. She thought he was being ironic the first two times, until she realised that’s what he survives on when he’s in a creative flow.How often do they fight?:Very rarely. Their optimistic nature makes for peaceful company.What do they do when they’re away from each other?:Char writes while Lottie tries to find ways to sneak actual nutrition into his diet.

Who steals the covers at night?:Lottie. Once Char is alseep, he’s as good as a human plank.

Who remembers things?:Lottie likes to keep on top of things, mostly so she can make a spectacle of them later on. Char has a list. Somewhere. That’s almost the same as remembering.

Who cusses more?: Lottie, but always with the funniest phrases.

Who takes longer showers?:While Char’s takes a lot of time setting up and would seem eternal for a normal person, Lottie could be lost in a could of fruity pink bubbles for days.

What’s their favorite place to go together?:The beach. While the sand can be an obstacle, it’s one of the few places where he can see the world without many obstructions. It’s nice to see her in the clear.

Who’s more likely to burn dinner?:Lottie. However, this is mostly because she’s the only one who goes near the oven. You can’t burn something if you don’t cook.Who falls asleep on the couch?:

Who sings in the shower?:The girl somewhere in the aforementioned cloud of fruity pink bubbles. Who plans date night?: Lottie is the official even planner of the couple.

Who wakes up first?:They wake up around the same time. Though it will take Char a few hours before he’s actually awake.

Who drinks all of the coffee?:Char, to keep him up through late nights when his head is crawling with ideas.

Who starts getting into holidays way before they should?:Char likes to research every day out possible as soon as available. He says it’s for inspiration for his latest novel. But really, it’s because he’s a child at heart and can help running loose over the  nearest sight possible.

Who initiates the couple selfies?: More often than not, Lottie is the one to crack out the phone and take a sickly sweet selfies. But if the light takes his fancy, it isn’t unheard of for Char to take the lead.

Who forgets the birthdays and anniversaries?:It’s hard to forget anything around Lottie. She likes to turn things into an event.
