Maintenance and Mending Monday - Jacket Repair!
My partner’s soft-shelled jacket got a rip in it, but since the fleece lining and outer fabric was fused together the repair was a bit more complicated. I looked at the reviews of a few different fabric glues online, and decided on Fabri-Tac. After gluing the edges of the tear back together, I sewed a piece of black fleece to the inside lining (making sure to just snag the lining and not pierce the outer layer) to cover the inside of the tear completely. For a cheap jacket, this repair turned out fine!
