Would make a gorgeous display! We've never seen anything like this color combination. A light turquoise background with darker turquoise around the edges of the flowers; and the golden mustard color of those blossoms is a beautiful, though unusual choice. Yes, those seem to be golden plum blossoms surrounded by sprigs of small white flowers, but the composition and patterning looks to us like a coral reef in tropical waters. Great lining featuring ningyo - "Imperial Dolls". Hidden pocket as well!
Michiyuki were worn over the kimono (which showed at the neck) on chilly days. Michi means "street" and yuki refers to "going out".
