This journal has been waiting patiently for me to finish it. Yesterday, while I was preparing a few projects to finish (and then I started 2 more projects 🤦🏻‍♀️), I was looking for a way to close this fabric journal. I thought about using buttons but had no ribbon or button closure idea in mind. I remembered seeing buckle closures somewhere on my travels so I rummaged through my own accessories to find a belt I didn’t use. The buckle was nice but the colour of the belt was all wrong, so I pulled the belt completely apart and made a whole new closure out of it with scraps of leather that my mum had given me, and my trusty old crop-a-dile eyelet punch.
