*long-ish post ahead* As many of y'all know, I'm incredibly attached to my hair. For the past few months I have had to come to terms with the fact my hair needed a reboot. It wasn't growing and was unhealthy. So it needed to be cut of... All off. And here we are. This is the shortest my hair has EVER been!! I know it'll be worth it when my hair grows back stronger and healthier. ... My confidence in this new look will come with time since I look like a completely different person. But, woah, I look good!! Happy #columbuspride2018 !! This marks 4 years of me coming to this pride. For the past four years, I have made it a tradition to celebrate my birthday on pride weekend. (For two years it was on the weekend of, last year and this year are a few days off). This has helped me slowly grow to love my birthday.

This year I once again stepped out of my comfort zone!! I didn’t wear a binder and open binded instead which left my stomach and chest super bare. I wore my favorite black pleated skirt and signature hat. I felt so authentically me. I loved every second of pride today!!

I cut almost 16 inches..... I didn't cut my hair for dysphoria.... I didn't cut it for me.... I did it so people wouldn't perceive me to be a woman.... I have never felt the same about my hair since cutting it... Cutting it wasn't all bad because it needed to have a fresh start to be healthy. And it is getting there... *Fastforward 2 years since coming out.* One of my good friends did my hair for me last weekend. I have been feeling myself. I and so happy with it. I love everything about it. Long hair doesn't make me anything but happy. I'm so grateful. Small steps towards loving myself.

Wow. Look how time flies. Today, one year ago my life changed forever. I started testosterone. It was a dream come true. I took my first step into becoming physically the man I am. It have been a crazy emotional ride but I habe loved every step of it. So thankful to God for everything. I am blessed to have even been able to start. Thank you to all who have been supportive and amazing through everything. I couldn't make this walk alone. I love you all. I usually don't post things like this bit I am proud of this. This had been a long time in the making. For double digit years I have struggled with disordered eating and severe body issues. I never ever viewed myself, my body, as attractive. Ever since starting testosterone, I made the decision to be healthier. I made the decision because I wanted to start loving myself. I wanted to feel better. So my best friend/roommate started working out with me and helped me get to this point.

I have so much more work to do. But, I have come so far with perseverance and great support group. So this is me. I’m pre top surgery and ten months on testosterone. I’m so proud of my progress.

One year ago to now. TDOV16 to TDOV17. What a change. I'm kind of cute. I was pre-t last year and now I'm 9 months on T. It's amazing to see what a year does!! I am proud non-binary Trans man. I use he or they pronouns. I am beautiful. I am proud. I am visible. There are many of us trans* people who cannot be visible for many reasons. We are standing together. We see you. We are with you. I am visible for you. I am visible so you know that you are not alone. You are loved. You are beautiful and you matter. Todays is for us my siblings. I want to give thanks to those who passed and paved the way for me be visible, for me to be proud, for me to exist.
