Does anyone know any good piccrews or the like for making OCs, in an effort to avoid AI. I sometimes use real pictures or face casts, but that is hard to do with children and has limitations.

Ideas welcome.

Do you have a fancast for the characters? Draco, Hermione, Pansy, etc???

I have....probably some of the least helpful face casts ever, because they're sort of more about the Vibe and not so much about things like hair color.

But! I do use face casts a lot to inspire me to write!

As always, these are my own personal face casts and my own (admittedly strong) opinions about character, and I'm a huge believer in diverse personal visions in fandom. Make your Draco short and your Hermione tall, we want that. We need it!

So!

My current favorite Draco is a model named Pedro Bertolini. R.I.P. L&OHA Hermione (I will direct the next person who comments about Hermione being unbelievably stupid to this man, who can explain: trying very, very hard to not lose your head over someone who has a demonstrated capacity to hurt you):

I find Hermione a lot harder. I do NOT headcanon her as being ethereal in the way that runway models tend to be. She's an Earthbender if there ever was one, and the closest I've found to her is a model named Tashi Rodriguez:

Unless Pansy is 18 or 19 and behaving like a typical 18 or 19 year old, in which case she's a woman named Julia Brenner:

Remus is one of a very, very few members of the film cast that I think is perfect. I haven't discovered someone I like more.

How do we feel about César Domboy as a Darcy face cast, P&P fans?

I’ve only seen him in Outlander, so I’ve mentally pigeonholed him as ‘tall, hyper-competent eldest sibling who talks shit a lot.’ Fergus is super charming though, so I have no idea if he could pull off a ‘repressed English dude’ role.

How do you feel about a young Alan Rickman looking like teenage Remus?? There’s a photo in particular where he has floppy hair, wearing a waistcoat and tie, and holding a mug of tea that just screams Remus to me.

I’ll be honest, I don’t think I can see Alan Rickman, even a young version, as anything other than Snape.  

That said, your head canons and face casts are your own and we all have different ones.  My current fave young Remus face cast is Matt Hitt, but I know people have sooo many different ones for each of the characters.  All are valid and if young Alan is your face cast for Remus, that’s awesome.  I love hearing about who everyone head canons as these younger characters.  

Honestly, I love hearing any and all hc’s and anything about these boys.  I love them a bit too much.  lol

Do you have any preferences of who you’d have liked to seen cast for the starks? Specifically for Sansa and Arya in mind. I know Michelle did a fine job but I was always curious on how Jennifer ehle would have pulled off the character.

I really only do face casts, as in like....just finding hot people who look enough like how I envision the characters in my head. I don’t really go by actual actors and their actual current ages or accents or even their actual talent lmao. I don’t have a face cast for sophie that isn’t a model I don’t think

BUT Jennifer DOES look the part of Catelyn and I think she probably could have done a great job
