I have never felt more bad for Torse than right now where he wakes up after his last memory was attacking Marya and is instead met w/ a jaunty mechanic robot, a centuries old Zood robot that is from a very different time period and energy, a singing frog that improves his own music while being a blatant rip off of a loony toons character, and Olethra my plan was to bring you unconscious into enemy territory and everything would be fine Macleod. Honestly surprised he didn’t have a mechanical heart attack.

I feel like Brennan throwing out Wisconsin p. Toad was him trying to find any possible way to not have to robotically sing for the back half of the season.

Imagined ending for Cloudward Ho

There's an ending that I would like for Cloudward Ho.

After everything is done and Zood and Zern is saved and all the story stuff is wrapped up, the pcs are happy and whole and had satisfying conclusions to their arcs. There is a celebration of some sort or maybe just a resting period as everybody is processing what they went through now back in Gath and Comfrey goes to Olethra. She pulls her aside to talk alone and tells Olethra that something is going on and she wants to go investigate, something big is going on in Zood or where ever and says kiddo I'm going on an adventure and I want you to come with.

Olethra stops and thinks about this. The Olethra of the past would have leapt at the chance to go sky high with her grandma and been overjoyed to have been included. Current Olethra, the girl who has been to Zood and seen the consequences of adventuring, the realities of flying out the window at a moments notice without so much as a note or goodbye and isn't so sure that's the life she wants anymore. She doesn't regret her time in Zood but she is taking the time to think about things a little more carefully.

She thinks about her parents left behind in Pilby and her dad especially who never had a stable relationship with his mother. She thinks about what the other windriders lost while adventuring. What she almost lost.

With all of that in her mind she tells Comfrey that she will not go. Not this time at least. Maybe she'll go on the next adventure but this time she is going to go home and rest. Maybe she'll spend time with the other windriders on the ground.

I hope Comfrey will respect her decision and maybe even join her in Pilby for a while. I do not think Comfrey has the ability to stay in one place for very long though. She will leave again but I don't think Olethra will follow. I like to think that she'll have her own adventures but a little more cautiously.

I also like to think that Maxwell will have fully embraced what it means to be a windrider. He goes home and brings honor back to the Gotch name and probably takes out his dad but afterwards he is often in the sky going to many places. Maxwell is undeniably skyeyed and can't get enough of adventuring. Maybe wishful thinking but I like to think that Torse would be with him and definitely Wealwell as well.

Currently watching the new episode of cloudward ho I really hope they are able to figure out to get Torse’s heart disconnected from the engine. I really like his character and what he brought to the group as well as the shipping potential w/ Max.

Well what do I do if I like everything huh Maxwell? I guess I shall just gorge myself on this insane foolish protective iceberg of a man until I shuttle off this mortal coil w/ all of Wealwell shoved into my little suitcase because I will be taking him w/ me.
