not that anyone at all asked, but I wanted to talk briefly about the inspiration behind the looks of the twins. So I admit I am that person that can not make character faces without some form of reference for inspiration. Particularly for the twins because I wanted to them to look enough alike... so I did spend far too much time thinking about faces...
Mathras was actually the first to be made and I was finally getting around to watching AHS at the time I made him, so I based his face a little off of Cody Fern, because I really think he is a talented actor and if I was actually casting like a film about the Twinquistion... I would definitely want him to play Mathras. Plus he is one of the few people I could think of with glorious enough hair to pull off Mathras’s look LOL Also... I totally could see him playing a very sarcastic, slightly ragey chaotic bisexual rouge....
Then... then came my girl... Tamaris... I can not lie, I have a rather large and long standing crush on Evan Rachel Wood. So when I was looking for a face for Tamaris... I really didn’t look THAT hard... Again, she is incredibly talented (hello... have you seen Westworld!?!) and I could see her playing the internal conflict that Tamaris experiences sooo well...
Again... I KNOW no one asked for this but I really wanted to share a bit of my character creation process with y’all...
