For every 🍎 I get, my muse must confess one of their sins.
When I worked at the university, I once met a rather charming, attractive individual. We winded up having a sort of relationship: spending time together, going on dates, occasionally ending in intimacy, etc. While it was a fun few weeks, not once did I question said individual’s marital status, despite the obvious ring upon their finger.
Of course, all good things must come to an end, and that individual’s spouse discovered our little fling. Now, I had a wonderful reputation at the university, thus when their spouse arrived one day to accuse me in person, I easily had others defend my name before them. I, of course, hardly deterred their opinion from the truth. That said spouse ended their visit when they grew violent at one of my coworkers - one thing lead to another, a trial occurred and they served some jail time for their attempted assault and disruption of our students.
By this time, I had grown bored of the relationship. As the before individual attempted to revive the spark we once had. I merely told him I was no longer interested, and dismissed him to go about his day.
-thinking back on it, I do believe that spouse is still in jail. It’s been a few years now; ah well, not my problem~
