Introducing.. Yellow!

Yellow is a soft, smoothly rounded monster who embodies the sins of sloth and gluttony.

He’s the weakest member of the Chroma Council, with his laziness being to blame. Instead of scheming with his kin, he can be found lounging around, yearning for his next meal.

His mind struggles to comprehend anything that doesn’t involve food or leisure, resulting in little to no contribution on his part.

Abilities

- Sonic Scream : Rather than roaring, Yellow emits a shrill, piercing cry that can cause deafness and disorientation to Facefolk and humans alike.

- Goo Generation / Yellow’s Syrup : Wherever Yellow roams, a trail of sweet, viscous goo follows behind him. It seeps from his ventral scales, typically after he’s had a filling meal. This substance can create a sticky obstacle for whatever comes its way, but that isn’t the only danger.

If consumed, the syrup can act as a euphoriant, and it will leave the user wanting more. Enough if it can cause unwanted side effects, with paralysis being one of them.

- Tail Swipe : Yellow isn’t very mindful of his movements, which has resulted in total destruction thanks to his tail.

- Consumption : Yellow’s mouth contains multiple sets of razor sharp teeth that grind up his food.

🌈 Facekind Updates

This project is still alive, I’ve just spent significantly less time on it due to gaining and indulging in new interests other than NGC.

When I last worked on it, I decided to take a more fantastical approach in the creation of Facekind and the other species that will be featured. Speculative biology has gotten boring for me and I’d like to take a different route to make this enjoyable for myself.

Along with that, me and @thingydoohickey have started redesigning the Elders of Chroma (e.g. RED, ORANGE, BLUE) and creating lore for them, though we’ve withheld it due to how rapidly our ideas change, mine especially..

I’ve also worked on the world-building for Ignroth, which I revealed in a snippet of in my server. I’d like to work on the regions in order, going from red to purple.

So.. To break it all down

* Leaning more towards fantasy rather than speculative biology / sci-fi.

* Working towards developing the Elders of Chroma.

* Developing the regions from red to purple.

I hope you guys what we come up with, and I really appreciate you guys for sticking around for as long as y’all have.

Now, before I finish this off, I’d like to share something about the creation of Facekind that I find neat.

Faceizens are the manifestations of the Elders’ emotions. Think of them as thought-forms that condensed into physical, independent entities.
