adam gets in for free too - circumstances being that his good buddy, reed, runs the theater, took over from his uncle. it's a weekday. he should probably start charging for tickets. especially if he's letting every pretty girl that runs past his window in for free. but adam sure as hell wasn't planning on paying full price to watch bambi: the reckoning.
adam doesn't usually come so late on a tuesday. but he didn't feel like being alone in his shitty little apartment. her voice pulls him from the ratings logo - she's talking to him, and he takes in a moment to just look at her face.
like a starlet bathed in green. then it flickers black, and red, and white, the trailers starting as he nods his head, cause he's still in a sort of stupor.
he snaps out of it. “yeah, you want this seat?” he. perfectly centered, and she'd gone out of her way to seek it out. but he didn't care too much about the movie. he just shifted over one just in case, “you know, i don't mind,” he smiles towards the screen, “this seat feels even better,” cause it was next to her.
he feels almost sheepish, then tries to shrug it off. after all, they were both there to see the same shitty movie.
“the sequel to bambi my inner child always wanted.”
