Frannie: tucked her hair behind her ear as she hit the button to facetime Nate. She sat down next to Ollie and Dobby on the floor as they were both equally interesting in the light-up shapes that said the name of each shape when they would hit it. She chewed on her lip as she waited for him to answer the call.

Frannie: had been scrolling through the dash when she let out a sigh, picking up her phone and calling Gabe. Her free hand shakes as she waits for him to answer and she chews on her lip, glancing down at the coursework she had been failing to actually work on.

Fun Facetimes - Once a week I get to FaceTime my cousin and her three kiddos to talk about a movie that we have all watched that week. Aves and I call it Movie Club. It’s a great way to stay connected to them even though we are a state apart. This week my bestie and her other half got to join. We laughed so hard with them and it was genuinely a highlight of my week.
Old traditions in new ways - Covid continues to change how we do things. This year it messed with Bockfest. Our annual tradition of parade watching, goat loving, too much beer drinking revelry couldn’t happen. Instead we celebrated with a socially distanced dinner at Washington Park. It was nice to get out and enjoy something but the old traditions were missed.
Knowing how to get out of sticky situations - When I got home from fishing today I literally hooked myself - my leggings to be more precise. I’m thankful that I didn’t panic and figured out how to get myself out of that situation. LOL
Sunshiny Days - Even when it is cold it is so nice to have beautiful sunshine to look at through my windows.
