#FacialFriday because this time last week I spent 6 hours straight squinting in the sun when the forecast got it wrong for a shoot. Need to undo what that did to my elevens (you know, those eyebrow lines/furrows that can creep up on you even though your mom always told you not to frown...). Love skincare (especially those that actually work, like @biologique_recherche ‘s Serum Elastine and Creme Masque Biofixine pictured here, my go to for any lines I’m trying to target), but there’s only so much it can do, as it works on the skin only. It is important to have realistic expectations. The face has 42 muscles, some overworked (and cause expression lines like the 11’s) and some underworked (which causes sagging after a certain point in time, like loss of definition along the jawline), and this was something I really took notice this time last year. I started using microcurrent (which works on the muscles of the face), since the beginning of this year, and no longer need to fake a jawline with contour like I used to, and I particularly love using @7emyolift ‘s “erase” setting to relax my overworked muscles, softening the lines I was starting to notice between my eyebrows and around the eyes. For those who watched my YouTube video on microcurrent devices I tried to stay neutral across all 3 I have, but this device is my go to for my serious sculpting and line erasing, and only need use 1-2 times a month for maintenance. The probes (or even microcurrent gloves) offer more control when targeting muscles, and I have yet to find amother device that relaxes the muscles like this does. This device by @7emyolift is used by some aestheticians in clinic but is available for home use, and they also make professional devices which are available to aestheticians only.
