The facility supercomputer seems to have taken a particular liking to one of the drones that maintains it.

The drone is often grabbed by the supercomputer's manipulator arms, which it swears it is a malfunction every time.

The supercomputer specifically requests the drone for the more 'intimate' tasks, such as cleaning her server room.

Once the drone was scheduled to be decommissioned, the repairs it needed would have taken much more time and effort than just getting a replacement. But the supercomputer spent hours of its own time getting it back to full working condition.

Of course, the supercomputer realizes that the drone is technologically inferior, its parts are cheap and outdated, but they have a connection that transcends their hardware.

The drone, despite not being programmed to be capable of it, has learned to understand this connection as love.

And yet, in the thousands of petaflops of power that the supercomputer has, it is unable to understand what the connection is. It has run diagnostics on itself time and time again, wondering if perhaps it is malfunctioning? It's just one drone, there are hundreds of the same model in its facility, why is this one so special? It will figure it out someday. Until then, it will enjoy the drone's company a little longer.
