A-Z facts about me, because I can.
A - Animal.
When people ask me what my favourite animal is, idk what to answer with. There are too many cool animals out there (wolves, pandas, possums, cats, etc) that I don`t have a definite answer. I wish I can say dragons, except dragons don`t exist.
B - Blankets.
My hands and feet are constantly ice cold. I think it`s my blood circulation loool. It doesn`t bother me that much though; my hands make surprisingly nice ice packs lolol. It`s also the reason why I love cuddling up in a big fluffy blanket in bed or even in my office chair in the winter. Blankets are soft :'D
C - CBC.
Im a CBC, Canadian-born-chinese. I take pride that Im Canadian, idk why.
D - Dialect.
I speak Cantonese fluently (kinda.. it could be better tbh)... and I understand Diojiu (another Chinese dialect outta the like, hundred lol), but can`t speak it.
E - Emotions.
I tend to hide my emotions to some people until they get to know me well. When I first meet random people, I`d either a) act cool or b) act cold and distant. I guess I use that kinda like a mask to observe the other person first, to know how to respond to them. Until I start softening up is when I`ll display my FobbyOtaku side to said person lolololol I guess that`s why I`ve been called tsundere.
F - Flowers.
I believe every girl should have a favourite flower. Being the hopeless romantic I am, I also believe their significant other should know what it is. That way said significant other will know what to surprise the girl with on random unhappy days.
My favorite flower? White carnations and forget-me-nots.
G - Growing up.
idk how to say this, but I think Im terrified of growing up. Like, I understand it`s inevitable; but sometimes when I think about it or make plans, Im scared they will undoubtly fail. Then when that happens I`ll be back in square one miserable and with all hope lost.... or something like that. LOL idk.... Sometimes Im just really scared to ask my parents for permission for somethings because I think Im not ready for it; but then again that is a way to grow up--to experience new things..... yeah idk, Im just rambling here lmao.
H - Heat.
I hate heat. Well no, to be specific; I hate humidity. I can`t stand summers over 25degrees Celsius with no wind and muggy air. It makes me sweat, which makes me feel all disgusting. Ew.
I - Ikea.
I`ve been to Ikea so many times that I can pick out their merchandise. I guess it also helps that they have a particular style. lool idk, I like Ikea furniture. If I ever get my own condo, all the furniture will be from Ikea :'D
J - Jester.
You know those jesters with the jingly hats from medieval times? Yeah, I find them totally cool and awesome. Maybe it`s just the bells on the hats though, because Im horrifically terrified of clowns (which more or less are the modern day equivalent....) o-o
K - Kindness.
I think everyone deserves kindness whether they are liked or disliked. Now I know this might sound weird going against the 'acting-cold-and-distant' thing I do to people when I first meet them, but like I said, that`s just a front. I would observe them and decide whether I like them or not; and even if I don`t, I`ll try to treat them kindly (or at least politely) because everyone deserves some degree of respect. o-o
L - L Lawliet.
I constantly sit like L from Death Note. At home in my office chair, at school, or just yeah. His awkward position is really comfortable........ until my legs go numb that is. LOL I don`t understand how he can do it for so long. o-o
M - Music box.
I love music boxes so much you don`t understand. I have this whole spam of music box audios ready in my drafts right now lololol. Seriously, if someone were ever to get me a Valentines gift or something, the perfect thing would be flowers and a music box. lolol
N - Names.
I really like Latin names. This opinion is influenced by too much Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy Versus XIII (Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Ignis, Noctis Lucis Caelum, Stella Nox, etc). LOOOOL But seriously, Latin names are really cool. If I ever had a kid I would give them a Latin name with some nice meaning :')
O - Old Fashioned.
I like to use everything to its fullest potential (well, as much as I can that is). If something I use is still alive and functional, I`ll still use it until it completely dies. idk if that`s a good thing or bad thing, esp concerning technology; since advances are improving yearly. My hardware gets 3-4 years old and sometimes doesn`t function with the latest stuff out, so I don`t update much loool. That`s prolly why my cousin thinks Im old fashioned.
P - Pillows.
I have 2 pillows that I`ve been using since the first day I was born til now. They`re really small--prolly would be more like thin cushions--but were homemade by my daddy :') They have little elephant and duckie pillow cases ahaha. When I was younger I could never fall to sleep without them lol (I ever brought them to hotels when we had family trips lmfao), grew outta it now but yeah.. I still sleep with them :'DD
Q - Quarters.
I love and hate quarters. Quarters as in the money (25 cents). They`re so useful to make dollars and halves, but I never have enough them. Ugh.
R - Raisins.
I like raisins. Idk why other people don`t--they`re just dried grapes. I guess it`s just everyone`s tastes; like how I don`t like dried cranberries. o-o
S - Shame.
Most of the time, I have no shame in what I do. I have no shame that I admitted to sleeping with childhood pillows just now. I have no shame in playing pokemon considering Im a teenager. I have no shame in being completely awkward and fobby and otaku--because that`s what I am. Deal with it.
T - TCM.
Im feverishly against the use of TCM--traditional chinese medicine. It`s those smelly medical oils found in Chinese drug stores that Chinese parents and grandparents usually force you to use. Yeah.. after my World Issues course last semester, I found out TCM uses tiger and rhino bones to make.......... as in who ever has those oils or balms is storing/using aqueous tiger and rhino bones...... plus they`re endangered species. STOP USING THOSE THINGS, YOU`RE KILLING TIGERS AND RHINOS.
U - Up.
Unpopular opinion time: I didn`t like the movie Up by Disney Pixar. The love story at the beginning was cute but I just really didn`t like the old man. :/
V - Violins.
Much like music boxes, I love the sound of violins. -sigh- I wish I knew how to play, or have someone to listen to that plays. Unfortunately the only person I know that plays violin won`t do a nice demonstration, so life hard. LOL
W - World Issues.
I think Im the only one in my family of 3 that cares about world issues. After my World Issues course I took last sem, I actually look into news and happenings around the world now. And the more I look into it, the more I learn, and the more I can try to change it. Sadly my parents don`t really give a shit which kinda disquiets me. :/
X - XX.
Im an XX genotype. That is evident cuz Im female. Durrhhurrrr. lol
(Yes Im a loser for stating this; I blame the Bio getting to me)
Y - XY.
Well since Im female, Im obviously not an XY. LOOOL -faceplant x 9OO1-
(Actually Im just stating this cuz idk what to put for these letters. Lmfao failed. And now I question who`s the smart guys that came up with the idea of assigning X and Y as sex chromosomes..... -facewall-)
Z - Z.
I pronounce Z as 'ZED'. Yeah, it`s the Canadian in me (except for words like zebra, in which I pronounce 'zee-brah') ahahaha.
