Avengers Mira and Romac
"This is like Tradeworld all over again."
"You and I remember Tradeworld very differently."
Different context here, but the quote was perfect to use!
I found an old and quick drawing of these two dressed up as Avengers characters so I decided to color it in for fun. Mira Nova as Black Widow and Romac as Hawkeye. This is the first time I've drawn the lovable scoundrel Romac; he didn't turn out too half bad. Also, made an adjustment to Mira's hair, by adding in more orange than it usually has in canon. I think I'll keep this adjustment in my illustrations of her from now on. Enjoy!
Disclaimer: Mira Nova and Romac of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command/BLoSC belong to Disney/Pixar, and their costumes belong to Marvel Comics.
Mystery Beachcomber
A lady in shadow... who could she be to attract Mr. Ty Parsec? Looks like he'll have to go over and meet her since he's done surfing for the day. Done as a summer piece to welcome the season. Enjoy!

In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight, let those who worship evil's might, beware my power, Green Lantern's light!
As any Green Lantern would say! And this mermaid is no exception. So I chose a mermaid because this month is Mermay, which is a challenge in the art community for people to draw, you guessed it, mermaids every day by looking at prompts and drawing the mermaids inspired by said prompt (be it something like pirate, pearl, flying, whatever.) This doesn't have a prompt attached to it, but I did want to do something for the challenge so here's my own take on it--a superhero mermaid, with her as a Green Lantern from DC Comics.
Enjoy, and Happy Friday! :)
Rockabilly Green
A day early, but I wanted to post this St. Patrick's Day illustration up today. A leprechaun proudly decked in a rockabilly outfit: a bowling shirt and cool hat, and enjoying his time in the spotlight. Enjoy! :)
Fifty Years of Planet of the Apes
For the record, I think Charlton Heston might be one of my favorite film actors now. He was an incredible actor. We miss you, Mr. Heston!
So the actual date of this franchise's launch isn't until two months from tomorrow, but I wanted to go ahead and post this tribute to the very first Planet of the Apes film, which came out in 1968. I wanted to tell a mini-story for Chuck's character, Taylor, and his journey here. From the new faces shown in the evaporating cigar smoke to the small silhouette of the Statue of Liberty, he'll be coming across obstatcles and face horrible truths he hadn't anticipated.
Poor Taylor. It's a great movie, though, and I recommend it if you hadn't already seen it. Enjoy, and happy fifty years to an incredible film!
Disclaimer: I own the artwork, but the film elements belong to 20th Century Fox.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Book Cover
Just barely made it for Halloween, but I wanted to do something for it, and so here it is! Another book cover, this time featuring The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, the Headless Horseman.
Enjoy, and Happy Halloween!
