Short answer:

He used to (and still can) look like this

But now he looks like this

Longer answer:

He would originally look like Wil from Shannara but after a while, under his uncle's care he would turn into a corrupted form like Feyd from the movie (plus elf ears 🙃)

So he looks like the movie version "now" but he can cast illusions to look like whatever he wants to and when he wants to blend in with human or light fae he uses the image of his original form

And he will also put on the illusion when he is with Reader, first it just happens but later it's intentional
