If I were a human or dwarf or even an elf in the Third Age of Middle Earth, I'll definitely think the elves are trolling. What do you mean the sun didn't exist? How did the plants/trees photosynthesis then? How did you grow food? A flying mariner carries a star? You serious? An Ice bridge to paradise? Paradise is just one boat ride away? Humans tried to siege it? Y'all crazy! Like, imagine the stories and it's equivalent to 'Back in my day, we don't have postal and raven system, we have these seeing stones made by the greatest craftsman/criminal and those were rare. Did I mention the criminal also made that star?
