Warmup before I try to finish my character protraits (some warmup.. my hand hurts now)... GUYS I HAVE SUCH A BACKLOG OF THINGS TO DRAW BUT I'V BEEN SO BUSY...

This is the full size that I drew in! ^-^ - First drawing is an image I had in my head that was gonna be a painting but I was lazy! Fafnr and Heimdl being intimate. - Second set is Coman nervously thinking about a volunteer candidate body because his own body is breaking down (SGPA season 3 stuff). Yes, he will have a trans experience as a male in a female body since she's th eonly one who readily volunteered! - Altaire eventually cuts his hair and wears glasses in the future (he doesn't need the glasses actually, but it's a fashion choice). I have not yet decided on Alt's short hair, but here's a mini mohawk type to try out. Altaire is trying to do a portrait of Roo-- he's a better artist than me!?! >:0 Look at cute the drawing is! (Roo belongs to @mydearbasil )

July 12, 2016. Paint Tool SAI. Last night while I was delirious from lack of sleep (as is normal for me--even though my sleep has been better lately! xD), Basil was yelling at me about having a Weebly set up for Heimdl and Fafnr (so she coudl have easy access to refs for herself?), but I refused vehemently and told her to set one up for me instead and I am pretty sure she cried and tried to throw her figurative cheerios at me. ANYHOW, I eventually went to pass out and woke up to seeing this from her!!!! pbs.twimg.com/media/CnIeQAZVUA… Heimdl and Fafnr!!! Knave and Noble! My gorgeous princess/empress and my favourite jerk. q_q I vowed to finished my collab stuff today too, but I decided to do a "warm-up" pic first (that took 4 hours..), so with inspiration from Basil, I decided to do a redraw of this image from 8 years ago: http://meibatsu.deviantart.com/art/I-knew-you-once-82486819

But now with pants on both of them!!! They used to be lovers in a past life, but then she dies, so Heimdl decides to never meet her again the next lifetime to keep her alive. A love that can never be..!!! I like thinking that they can meet up one day again and fall in love again, but still not be able to be together. Just have that uneasy tension forever!!! So this pic is them in the next lifetime, getting a little toooooo familiar again before the both of them snap out of it and Heimdl throws her off the bed or vice-versa. xD

Hahahha.. i tried painting with watercolour for the first time in like a decade (gouache is easier to handle for me!!! xD) and this is 2 hours of my life overworking things before it can dry and then trying to fix my mistakes and cutting my losses! :D

YEY! More reversed characters! I have two more to really get to (Johnny & Grae), so that image will appear at some point too!

On the left are Fafnr, Seiren, Sparkle Kitten, Destiny, and Crow. To the right in full body is Set Djinn, the Golden Emperor and self-declared ruler of the Waters of Sheol.

Fafnr is “Fallen Star” type of spirit. Acting more as signposts than living entities, they are the essences of wayward/dying stars that constantly send out pulsating signals as an announcement of their doom (which actually can last for thousands of years. >_> ). Sometimes they can wind up on inhabited planets and their pulsations wreck havoc and destruction on close surrounding areas and disrupts electrical signals over further distances.. What a nuisance! Demon Hunters try to subdue them, but they are very dangerous and go on the offensive as their defence.

Seiren is not longer the servant spirit of the physical ocean, but is a servant spirit of the Waters of Sheol, the waters of the dead! He acts as a salesman, coming to people in desperate times of need to sign their souls over to Set Djinn, the Golden Emperor, in exchange for a wish. He’s charming and manipulative, perfect for the job!

Sparkle Kitten! A wandering feline spirit who is curious about the rumblings of the physical world! She becomes interested in a young human girl named Destiny Crystal (lol => Dysta) and starts befriending her. Destiny is an adventurous 10-year-old who has a knack for making homemade arts-and-crafts charms and magical artifacts (making talisman stickers for her shirt, lucky charm bracelets, and cardboard ouija boards..). Sparkle Kitten acts as a sort of guardian/spirit-guide to Destiny, trying to be her common sense, but only able to communicate in messed up human english. Some of you may know her as Typo Cat. Have you been touched by the blessings of this majestic spirit? XD

Kuro (Crow? lol) is a tengu! He’s young and prideful and has not been fully trained, yet thinks he’s ready to take on the world and become a daitengu (great/wide tengu)! So he steals a sacred familiar (baby phoenix named Pankuramu -- Kuramu for short-er?) and sets out on his pokemon adventure journey to see what the world has to offer in the form of a challenge (or food or fun--he’s easily distracted form his main goal)!

Set Djinn, a manipulative, mischievous, and occasionally malicious entity who prides himself on punishing people for their hubris or desperation, and enjoys padding his land and citizenry with souls signed over to him through his servants. We wears chains to elicit an image of restraint and to lull his audience into a sense of security, as if he is some sort of imprisoned spirit where a greedy person (or any entity for that matter) may think they can have leverage over him in making deals. He is also called the Golden Emperor by his citizens and servants due to his hair, which shines like gold against the murky depths of Sheol.

Paint Tool SAI (one layer), ~5 hours?

Fafnr, the Princess of the Amat Archdom~! Aka Space Girl.

I decided to do some colour study and try to emulate the colouring style of c-bedford a little because I really, really like their style and admire their stuff so much.. *__* But that meant doing a bit more of a realistic rendering of Fafnr, which I am not very used to.. so I hope it pulled it off okay (since I didn't use references hahaha.. what is girl anatomy.. unless you count staring at Bedford's handsome handsome mens!). It was very therapeutic to try and do this.. but also yes.. very difficult. I uhm.. I guessed a lot when it comes to colour choices.. But I think overall there is a harmonious brightness to it! (except for that kind of random dark corner, but I was too lazy to fix that >_> )

Below you see my wip screenshot, and then an old image of Fafnr from 2010 that I was really proud of at the time for comparison~! Fafnr is like.. my favourite character to draw sitting around looking pretty and I totally have a huge crush on her. lol
