i think ive asked you this before but can you talk a bit about the difference between like, a brainbuster and a suplex? i watch so much puro and they call everything a brainbuster so now i dont know what is real

Let's start with the difference. Both moves have the same set up, where the attacking wrestler puts on a front facelock, drapes the defending wrestlers arm over their neck, and then lifts them up usually via grabbing the thigh or gripping the opponent's gear. The wrestler then falls backwards to executive either move.

The difference is the landing. For a Vertical suplex, the defender lands flat on their back. For a Brainbuster, the angle is a bit higher, usually on the upper back/or neck area. The way the angles are achieved is usually due to the way the attacker falls. For a Vertical Suplex, the attacker will gradually lean backwards until both wrestlers collide with the mat.

For a Brainbuster, the wrestlers will try to fall so they are parallel to the mat but the opponent is not. This often involves kicking their own feet out as they fall to the mat, sometimes you will see a wrestler pull their opponent downward, it varies but the effect is the same.

As to why both are called a Brainbuster in Japan, this is due to the move being introduced via Karl Kox. Karl invented the Brainbuster, and before him there weren't many people even doing the Vertical Suplex, so the name became synonymous with both moves. In Japan, the move is differentiated now via a Vertical Suplex being called a Brianbuster, and the move we would call a Brianbuster being called a Vertical Drop Brainbuster or Sheer Drop Brainbuster.

Érdemes azzal kezdeni, amit Mikesről Kosztolányi és Szerb Antal írt:

Szerb: Magyar irodalomtörténet releváns szakasza

Kosztolányi: Lenni vagy nem lenni - úgyszintén

Benedek Elek: Nagy magyarok élete - ú.sz. - "Vért nem ontott, vért nem hullatott, ő csupán szeretett, ő hű volt, megindítóan hű lélek." (sokan nem voltak Kelemenre immunisak)

Kezdetnek ők megteszik.

A Nyugatosok amúgy nem voltak Mikes iránt emocionálisan közömbösek (ld. ő konkrétan a logójuk), ez Kosztolányinál kitűnik, de abban igaza van, hogy tényleg Mikesnél olvashatjuk először a "kávéház" kifejezést, de pl. több adatot téveszt (Mikes olyan 16-17 évesen állt Rákóczi szolgálatába, stb).

Itt ajánlanám Balázs Mihály Forrásvidék c. könyvének Mikessel foglalkozó részét, összefoglaló gyanánt.

Illetve egy kakukktojás, de a Veress Dániel szerkesztette Édes néném elég sok Mikesről szóló verset gyűjt össze.

Először érdemes egy "normál" kiadással kezdeni (Szépirodalmi Kiadó 1990, pl.), mert a legátfogóbb a Törökországi levelek és misszilis levelek a Mikes Kelemen Összes Műveiben (I. kötet), ami viszont betűhív kiadás, tehát kicsit nehezebb átlátni - szerencsére amúgy jól megérthető így is, Mikes magyarja nem különbözik annyira a moderntől, hogy ne lehessen érteni. De szintén a Szépirodalminak volt egy Magyar Remekírók c. sorozata, amelyben megjelent a Törökországi levelek, és az a misszilis leveleket is tartalmazza. Nem a legszebb, legjobb kiadás, de a misszilis levelek is hozzátartoznak a teljes képhez (ezeket Mikes már a valós rokonainak írhatta, engedélyre, élete utolsó éveiben).

Angolul Bernard Adams fordításában és jegyzeteivel jelent meg - itt a 2., Corvina kiadást ajánlom, a Líránál amúgy elég olcsón lehet kapni, meg a Massolitben is szokott lenni belőle (becsomagolva, ami a világos borítót hivatott védeni, Kelemen barátunkat nem LMBTQ tartalom miatt fóliázták le). A Kaló-Fouilleul-féle francia fordítás jól sikerült, de abból csak az OSZK-nak van helyi példánya, még nekem sincs, pedig tavaly feltúrtam érte több párizsi antikváriumot. Elég a', hogy ott sincs belőle több.

Kelemen saját fordításaiból megjelent külön a Mulatságos napok és Az idő jól eltöltésének módja. Ő egy úgymond beau infidèle, ha egyes számot akarunk képezni a belles infidèles fordítói hozzáállásból. Ennek az a lényege, hogy egy adott célkitűzés (magyar ifjak okítása) végett úgy fordított, hogy van amit kihagy, átalakít, adaptál. A Mulatságos napok cselekményét pl. echte átteszi Erdélybe, és ez csak egy adaptációs fogása. Nem fordít rosszul, csak nem úgy, ahogy manapság a fordítóktól elvárt, és tetten érhető benne néha a saját személyisége.(Egy példa: Veress Dániel: A szóhordásról : Irodalmi adalék Rodostó lélektanához (Tiszatáj 3. sz. 1976))

Caveat

Namármost, itt jön be a képbe az objektivitás. Itt azt tudom mondani, hogy a legnagyobb Mikes-tudor a néhai Hopp Lajos volt, az ő tanulmányköteteivel nem lehet mellélőni. Manapság a Tüskés Gábor és Knapp Éva foglalkozott vele behatóan, és szerencsére sok Mikes-tanulmány létezik, lehet bogarászni bőven.

Valahol bájos, hogy tudósok és írók nem immunisak Kelemen gáláns levelezőstílusára, de ez befolyásolhatja az objektivitást. Veress Dániel pl. igyekszik objektíven írni, de csak bele-belemászkál olyan, hogy Mikest egy szeretnivaló, szimpatikus kis fickónak látja, és még színdarabot is írt róla, szóval itt már rezeg a léc. A két Mikesről szóló színdarab, amit olvastam amúgy sajnos nem túl jó: a Veress-féle Négy tél túl unalmas, a Tordai Ányos-féle pedig túl pátoszos.

second of all the story of him and the soyuz-apollo mission just. makse me so happy ? look at them . the space handshake. the fact that leonov became friends with commander stafford of the apollo and was the godfather of staffers younger kids makes me very happy wtf

Try searching with the names of the wrestlers involved (sometimes you need their Japanese names, which I just copy from wikipedia) and if that doesn't work you can add the date and/or the name of the event.
