January 6th marks 16 years since I first posted Faheem online, making it his birthday! ^^ I had this painting idea in mind for a while now and wanted to finally sit down and work on it. So glad I did <333 Here he's illuminated by the twilight. The idea is that he's reaching his hand to his wife, Yldae, but it also looks like he's welcoming you the viewer, to the twilight realm ^^
For me it's a lot of fun to compare to his first art from 16 years ago because it shows how far I've come. It's why I always try to do a painting of Faheem every year <3
