God Tumblr be Tumbln' tonight folks. But also like I do worry about the way some get their panties twisted about things. And now children's media isn't dark enough because we aren't talking enough about the so-called golden age of piracy and it's darkside. Which is a wildly narrow field of time and geography to focus on since piracy has been and will be with us as long as people have boats. Just ask the Sea-People.
Amazing 10/10. But I also want to lift those of you off your high horses like toddlers out of their high chairs and tell you from the bottom of my heart- You are the villain in someone's story.
We are all the villains in someone's story. I know when you're first discovering your own morality it can feel so intoxicating, so liberating, here on the internet it's probably amplified even more.
But one of the great gifts I have always found in the queer community is that we embrace the fucked. We're messy, we got weird kinks, get horny over weirder shit and are still problematic even as we drag the rest of society forward into a brighter future.
There's no rule book, no one at the helm, no real meaning to anything. Just each of us crawling around like lice on the scalp of the earth until we die. Embrace that.
