Been a While (closed)
It had been quite a while since he'd last seen the man who lived in this apartment. A couple years or so, in point of fact. There were reasons for that, of course, but none of them quite mattered now that things had settled down after the Promised Day. He let out a quiet breath as he leaned against the wall of the building, hands in his pockets, watching the city move around him.
Central was recovering nicely after all the chaos - the entire country was - and it was nice to see. Oh, there were still scars from the mayhem here and there, soot-stains and bullet holes that would probably always be there until something knocked them out, but that was just cosmetic. The people seemed to be fine. Of course, right now he was less interested in the general public and more interested in one man.
It had taken him a while to find out where Roy Mustang was living these days, given that he'd left Central before Roy had transferred in, but with a little help from a friend he'd managed it. Now he stood outside the building, dressed casually, a hat cocked slightly over his face, and just waited. Perhaps it wasn't the best idea to surprise the man at his home, but it was probably better than surprising him at work. Probably. Either way he'd have to be careful to avoid getting fried before he could explain things; dead men weren't supposed to just turn back up and say hi, after all.
