★ --;; So much has changed since the last time Vash had found himself wandering through this sprawling city; he finds himself more and more venturing further out from his usual haunts, never one to sit idle on his haunches for long. If he was to be stuck on this island, he thinks, better make the most of it.
One of the things that had overwhelmed him so thoroughly had been the ocean; he’d never once seen one that had not been made of so much sand and dust and decay. The first time he had seen the ocean he thinks he had stood there for hours, watching the tide go in and out.
So now that it’s frozen-- well. The childish part of him can hardly resist venturing out onto it.
Even the trip out to the giant slab of ice had left him a bit slack-jawed; the creatures swimming just out of reach beyond the submarine’s windows. When the submersible finally reached its destination, though is when he found his first difficulty-- stepping out onto the ice without promptly slipping and tumbling hard onto its unforgiving surface.
Failed step one.
He’s pretty sure his tailbone is bruised.

We cut in to a scene of a living room or foyer, decorated in a Victorian style while still having modern accents and at least one end table that is literally just a stump. Enter left from another room is Paprika, slamming a button on the wall to stop a roiling pile of words and eyes from following any further. There is a sign of distress on her face before the thing scrambles away and she leans against the barrier with a sigh.
"And here i thought Glor-hryx the Spoken was cooking."
This is when canned laughter cuts in.
@failedprince is accosted by the agency’s street magician!
“Welcome to Big Dipper's flower festival, my friend! Tell me, are you a fan of magic? I, the great Troupe Master Grimm, am here to entertain all today!”
The Troupe Master whips out a deck, because apparently he’s not taking no for an answer. He smiles his usual sketchy smile, fanning the cards out as the petals flutter past him in the wind.
“What’s your favorite card, and why?”

Feniks is right. She can use this opportunity to also scout some people. See if anyone is interested in joining hands with her for any dangers. No one is going to sit around and take whatever is thrown at them for when danger does arise in this particular setting, but if she can find someone people for the future as well, yes....this is one of the perfect opportunities.
Arms are crossed over her chest and back is leaned against the wall. For a MOMENT she could’ve sworn her eyes caught someone familiar. SOMEONE FOUL, someone by the name of @valsharesses but....they look so different. She’s not entirely sure. When Corvus pushes herself off from the wall, she’s planning to approach said woman, but instead doesn’t.
SOMEONE else has grabbed her attention instead. A question was asked and her gaze moves over to the man who asked it before moving again to...Oh...that woman is gone.
“No....I’m just watching.” She finally answers the male. “I’m assuming you’re not here for the dance and get together either.” Her attention is right back at him now.

Housemates aside, Hikaru hoped the other won’t mind working together in a fantasy-ish setting that she can’t even relate once because she had never played videogames like Fuu does.
However, she forgot the true purpose of why she was here and Dirk in the Intraspace.
“What exactly are we going to find here in this odd place?” This made the girl, legit clueless.

Gods, how long had it been since Leo had seen Dirk?? Too long, considering how much Leo had enjoyed his company while he had been on the island. It felt like a strange dream sometimes. So far away, after everything happened with Apollo. And Jason.
But, when he spotted the familiar man, Leo shook off the depressing thought of his best friend and ran at Dirk, smiling wide.
“THINK FAST!” He shouted as he lunged at the blonde in pointy shades, aiming to give him a hug (provided Dirk didn’t sucker punch him in the gut for trying to tackle hug him).
@failedprince replied to your post:
Can't say as I argue with you. This stuff isn't even the weirdest shit I've ever come across, and I'm still leery of it. Of course, I am more interested in whether I am essentially psychologically immune to this as well. So personal debate rages on as to whether I'm going to try it or not.
Fascinating, another individual of science.
Well, you know how it is, take chaotic self-sacrificial decisions in moderation.
Although, I have to know now, what do you mean you might be immune? Is this an art mere headless mortals can learn?
