this was originally an art challenge but finals. so i’m just gonna share the dragons for now. not gonna tag op ‘cause that’d be. weird. kjlsdjklfskjlsfd

She/Her/Hers | Pansexual | Clan Merchant

An outgoing, but clever dragon, Faillon values few things more than a nice debate. She is utterly brutal when debating, sparing little thought for the other side and focusing only on winning. It is extremely difficult to tell where her actual ideals lie, as she is prone to playing devil’s advocate and speaking on the side of issues she may or may not agree with. Siva’s Scholars do not understand why she dedicated her life to a profession so frivolous instead of joining their Fragment, but Faillon has happily chosen to be Clan Aegis’ merchant. She is the one who deals with selling and trade items, particularly at the Trading Post. She is often accompanied by a large number of Guards and a few Mages, which she often gets rather upset with. She has requested extra combat training, hoping that if she gets powerful enough, Favnir will allow her to go to market without an escort that hurts her sales. Faillon works closely with Saphira and Alya. Like Saphira, Faillon frequently despairs that Clan Aegis is not more interested in treasure and gems, and sells Saphira’s clothes and Alya’s metals for the money that the clan doesn’t really respect. Faillon has also befriended the Hunter Alita and persuaded her to skin some of her catches. Faillon sells and trades the skins at the Trading Post. She returns with all sorts of compliments for the Hunters, which Alita thrives on. A friendly dragon with those she cares about, Faillon is ruthless when haggling and pinpointing other’s tells. That is what lead to her interest in Orpheus. His infamous sensitivity was intriguing to her. She believed she could study him and his interactions with others to figure out the entire clan’s tells. But Orpheus is such a kind dragon that Faillon ended up liking him. She has since informed him of her original interest in him. Orpheus was surprised and told her that Senka would gladly welcome her into the Rogues. Faillon laughed him off, saying that being a Rogue could never be as interesting as being the Clan Merchant. Orpheus was not bothered by Faillon’s revelation. He knew her well enough to know that she would have never told him her original plans if she did not care for him and he is actually pleased that she values him for both his talents and just being himself.
