Just found out about a musical with a canonical nonbinary character AND I managed to find a bootleg, so I am really excited!! Probably won't be able to watch til Monday but!! An actual nonbinary character in a musical yes! This makes me so happy!
It's called Head over Heels and it's a jukebox musical with music by the go-go's apparently and I am so exited about the canonical nonbinary character I just. Ahhhh!

Iarere wakes to pressing darkness. His ears twitch as he takes in the silence of the room; Ryu is gone.
It’s not unusual, really. She was not at all social, and it wasn’t a surprise that she’d wanted to sneak out before everyone else awoke.
Iarere shifted in the blink of an eye, claws retracting in as he prepared to lift himself off his mat. It was only then, however, that he noticed the piercing headache he possessed.
It was a distantly familiar pain, all too reminiscent of the days when his Caster power was first manifesting, and then once more afterwards, when he had been getting used to Ryu’s presence in his dreams, right along with the oppressing darkness she occasionally brought with her.
;; gosh Zephyr, Pythios and Anagyros are, respectively:
Zephyr: a bag of dicks
Pythios: a flaming pile of toxic shit
Anagyros: cancer.
These are my three OCs who I feel are just plain despicable people
thank you fire alpaca.

I don't belong to a church where the Eucharist is a physical act (Quaker), so please trust that I'm not trolling when I ask in true confusion, why would anyone deny the Eucharist to anybody? Again, not trying to inflame and you can totally just point me in the direction of an essay or something.
Taking it from the top, the relevant verse of Scripture is 1 Corinthians 11:27, for which “unworthiness” is usually and historically understood to mean heresy, schism, unrepentant sin, throwing other congregants out of helicopters, etc. To receive the Eucharist unworthily is a sin against God, and historically the Church reserves the right to deny it for that reason.
What’s implicitly at stake is stuff like “what does the Church consider to be unacceptable, and what is the Church willing to sanctify, and why?” and this is a very loaded question.
Also, as an Episcopalian parish membership is usually a function of Communion, so the question becomes “Are we okay with letting white supremacists join us in sacramental worship, have a say in parish life, and potentially be entrusted with power and responsibility?” and you can see why THAT might cause problems.
Haven’t drawn anything in a hot minute
