CADY was merely trying to get into the ‘holiday’ spirit. she was told this is what you do on the fourth of july. this was the first year she had been talked into the firework fun, and after this, it may have also been her last. “ you’re joking?!?! ” she was clearly in a full blown panic. “ what are we supposed to do? we have to apologize, right? but i can’t pay for a whole window! i can barely afford the luxary of cliff bars! ”

the choice of words threw doe off and struck her speechless for a moment. not an easy feat, considering dorcas meadowes usually always had some snappy comeback or knew exactly what to do or say in any situation. she shook her head, confusion washing over the slytherin’s face as she let out a small huff of a laugh. “what are you on about, black?” she finally said, “you never lost me and you won’t, mate. i’m not going anywhere anytime soon.”

what isn’t anna enjoying is the better question

anna isn’t usually one for working out per se, but... how could she not love jazzercising to some sweet 80s bops??? it gets her so pumped up and excited. plus, it’s a decent way to get shake off any nerves from being thrown into a totally new decade.

anna loves all the lady powerhouses. cyndi lauper, whitney houston, pat benater, you name them; she’s jamming out to them on her handy-dandy walkman. 

oliver and company. how could she not love a classic tale told in the form of a cute little orange kitten and a wide variety of doggos? also billy joel’s why should i worry? is just such a good song to sing while strolling down the street.
