pov: a night out

It’s so rare that the two of you go out and make it past midnight, but the bar your friends had picked out had good drinks and even better music. You and Faye spend the majority of the night dancing with your group, her occasionally pulling you away to hold you close and be in the moment with you.

Her being cute and making you drink water after every cocktail, which you had honestly lost count of how many you had after 5. Your friends and you had decided to buy a corner booth so you all had a base and could sit and order food in between dancing.

The two of you had gone to sit for a moment and hydrate, when you got up and started dancing solely for her. In that moment it felt like it was just you and Faye in the room. She looked stunning, something you remind her of everyday like any good wife does, but something about the way she looked tonight was doing it for you. “My gorgeous girl,” you said leaning over to say it close to her ear. You insisted taking a picture of her then and there, her immediately locking in to start posing because hello, once miss grand Thailand always camera ready. After taking a few serious pictures, some blurry because hey you were having a good time and hyping her up by saying things like “gorgeous! Model! You’re so hot!”, to which she burst out laughing at how adorable you were being.

After this went on for a while, she pulled you into her lap and gave you a kiss. “Looks like we should go out more often, huh?” To which you agreed, already seeing Pam making her way over to the two of you to get you back out on the dance floor.
