Hello oh my god thank you so much for adding to that post about aces being grouped with the lgbt community like I've been saying this for years I've experienced so much homophobia for having a gf and then some ace person will be like "but one time somebody said I was like a plant bc I'm ace" and I'm like ??¿ so facing homophobic assault is the same??? anyway that's my rambling but thank u so much I'm sick of seeing aces trying to take over the lgbt community on this bullshit site ur great
no problem frankly i’m just uh sick of seeing....b/p people and ace ppl lumped into some “forgotten queers” group because its extremely ignorant of lgbt history and it groups together “aces” (an extremely large and varied community which can include trans, gay, lesbian, bi, and pan people that are ace ((who can reclaim queer and do belong in the lgbt community)) but can also include cishet aces/ace spec people) and bi/pan people (like myself) who always experience sga and are not ace and don’t want or need to be grouped with the ace community. it also completely neglects the huge and important history of sex-based homophobic violence and oppression which is , idk, literally an enormously important part of lgbt history
also like. posts like that encourage people who are cishet aces to call themselves queer which fucking disgusts me tbh if you don’t experience sga or are not trans you don’t get to call yourself queer
