Thursday: I’d been wanting to try a tandem carry for a long time, and was feeling sad that I may never get the chance as Nina is our last baby and Jack hardly wants to be in a carrier anymore. But today I was singing and rocking Nina to sleep in my wrap and Jack told me that he wanted to go to sleep in the wrap as well. How could I resist? It might have been the last time he asks. Or the last time I’ll ever wrap him 😭!
I know I’m not supposed to be carrying Jack for long periods. So mom, if you’re reading this, don’t worry, I only had him up for a little while! Funnily enough, at this point in time, the weight of my two babies combined is how much weight I gained in my last pregnancy! 41 lbs!
Anyway, as you can see, I was pretty happy that I managed a tandem carry 😊 Sure, it was heavy, but the best thing about woven wraps is that they’re great at distributing the weight, making your baby (or babies) feel lighter.
