THREE • this was so much fun!

YOU AND YEONJUN have been driving for a couple of minutes now, but the drive has been a little bit quiet, which gives you the lingering impression that you did something wrong? you don’t know why.

but, that’s all in the past once you slowly start to see the café come into view from the passenger seat window, you can’t help but start to feel happy. yeonjun takes notice of that & tries his best to hold back the huge smile starting to appear on his face, he fails, but it was worth a shot.

yeonjun begins driving into a parking spot, looking back and front to see if you both are good to leave the car. you know everything’s fine once he starts unbuckling his seatbelt and says, "alright, let’s go!" with a smile. you smile back at him and start unbuckling as well.

you both hop out of the car and begin to walk into the café, the café is super nice & you love the smell inside. you & yeonjun slowly walk up to different registers to order whatever it is you both want.

after ordering you walk over to a small table near the front of the café sitting down & pulling out your phone from your back pocket. yeonjun walks over & sits down at the table with you after he’s finished ordering.

"what’d you order?", you ask not looking up from your phone. yeonjun looks up from his & says, "just a croissant & a iced americano! what about you?", you look up from your phone with quirked up eyebrows & say, "that sounds really good! i got a muffin & an iced latte", yeonjun nods his head once you finish.

you’ve gotten your food/drinks, you offered to pay but yeonjun wasn’t having it. after that, yeonjun said he had somewhere to take you. it was an extremely nice park, there were bunnies & cats, you seriously were in awe. yeonjun brought you over to sit down on a bench with him to talk about everything that’s been going on that you may have missed with each other.

"this was really nice yn, i’ve really missed hanging out with you, we haven’t had much time to do so considering we have school & stuff," yeonjun states with a slight frown.

you smile at him & say, "we can always hang out on weekends, i’m never busy to be honest! anytime you want to hangout just text me! don’t forget we’ve been best friends for over 13 years now…"

"yeah you’re right," he says with a slight chuckle. "but let’s get home now! it’s getting really late". you hum in agreement & begin to walk back over to his car.

here you are, at your front door as night officially comes to an end, "this was so much fun jun, get home safe, i’ll talk to you tmrw!" you say, "you’re right and i will! bye!" he says with a big smile on his face. "bye jun!" you respond back with the same smile.
