RAIYA does not hesitate for a single moment. She made a lunge for the ghost type who had been taunting her by pulling at her tail. She had just groomed the lovely purple tuft at it’s tip, and she was NOT going to allow it to be ruined by some dastardly Mismagius!
SHE would be ready for a battle if it came to it. While fighting wasn’t her style, she absolutely HAD to defend herself for the sake of her pride if nothing else!

In his experience, people who owned an Eevee or any Eevee evolutionary relative were always wimpy nerds who loved talking about how far superior their Pokemon was and couldn’t shut up. Lorenz guessed that guy over there, prancing around with his Sylveon like they owned the place, was no different...
He wanted to despise him on-sight for the unforgivable crime of somewhat reminding him of unpleasant childhood acquaintances... but it revealed itself to be a difficult task. Looking at this foreigner for a bit longer, Lorenz was actually starting to find him pretty darn cute, maybe even cuter than the Fairy type at his side.
The Aqua silently cursed his own predictable taste in men and was about to go on with his day. But then, the guy had to turn his head and see him stare! Oh, great, now it would feel too embarrassing to just walk away...
Well, guess he was in for some small talk. He’d see after a few words if the dude was worth hitting on.
