FairyWings

FairyWings are EXTREMELY small Pantalan dragons. They’re the oldest of the new tribes, separating around 1,500 years ago. A full-grown FairyWing averages around the size of a 1-2 year old dragonet.

FairyWings are mixes of HiveWings, SilkWings and RainWings. They have short, blunt horns, and long feelers. Their tails are usually twice their body length, and they have four HiveWing-shaped wings.

Roughly 80% of FairyWings are flamesilks, though not all of them can create hot flamesilk. While their bodies don’t glow, they often wrap their silk around their wings and bodies in intricate, detailed patterns. FairyWings are bright, colorful dragons, and can shift their wing colors to anything they want.

Very rarely, FairyWings can be animus dragons. Some of the other tribes have stories that if you catch a FairyWing, they have to grant any wish you ask of them.

The FairyWings do not enjoy this.

Due to their small size, Scavengers often capture FairyWings and use them as work animals. Many FairyWings are afraid of Scavengers for this reason.

They don’t have Queens, and instead have cities that act like family units. These cities are nestled high in trees, and a single tree can be a rather large city for FairyWings. When a city becomes too overpopulated, a small group will go off to find a new tree to colonize.
