2015 Declarations

I couldnt sleep so I thought i'd share some of the things I will definitely claim for this year. The year ahead is pregnant with purpose,promise and potential. Some of the things listed below have already been started. Also, I wouldnt call this a new year's resolution but would call this a faith declaration because I wouldnt want this to be about just about myself. I want to achieve things not relying solely on myself but because I have someone who is guiding me - my Saviour. And I can be proud to say that I did things not just because of my abilities but also because I trust in Him.  This is a year that will definitely bring new opportunities that I will discern and take full advantage of.   HAHA hope you'll find the list interesting and hopeful.

True deep relationships are more satisfying than shallow ones so learn to treasure friends that are true and my family. 

Read, read, read... I have to expand my vocabulary to be able to write more and converse with pips.

I have to write more on my journal to keep track of the things that happens. It's good to take record of the present and look back from the future because you can reminisce your humble beginnings.. hahaha so write about everything

Learn to unapologetically say no. 

Do your devotions even when you are alone. You dont want to miss amazing things about Him just because you are having fun. 

Finish this semester even if you crash mentally, emotionally and spiritually every time. 

take care of skin, eat more healthy.. You want to grow old gracefully> :P 

Stop being boastful and be thankful instead. 

Stop having so much pride and learn to be teachable even with your peers 

Speak more to people outside of your group. This will strengthen your people skills.

Apologize if you hurt someone

Be careful of my sharp tongue.

Finish paperworks as soon as its handed to you 

PRAY PRAY PRAY (w/ friends and also strangers) 

Work willingly and diligently as if you are doing it for the Lord even if I super hate it... :D 

Look people in the eye when conversing (CONFIDENCE!!) 

Of course, who wouldn't put this on the list; travel so hardddd until my bones get dry and tired...

AIGHT that was it guys.. I'm going to sleep. I have an 8:30am class tomorrow LOLSS :)

Statement of this week!

Be near, Lord...

Today was a busy busy and tiring day. But nonetheless...I know I surely would not have survived it well without God's unending grace and unfailing love...

But I want more of You, Lord. 

Still, today... I was given a task that consumed a lot of my time because I needed to read up, check out and study a lot... 

Jesus, I want to let you know.. That I want to be nearer to You..

"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you" - James 4:8

I'm gonna try what I know, do what it takes... like a lover who chases.

That's my faith declaration of the week! :D I still need Your grace! 

It's tough! But... I know only God is worth it.
