Indulge in the bold flavors of a Chicken Fajita Pizza with a twist. This pizza features a fire-roasted tomato sauce that adds a smoky depth of flavor to the classic fajita toppings. Perfect for a family dinner or pizza night with friends!
Ingredients: 1 pizza dough. 1 cup fire-roasted tomato sauce. 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded. 1 cup bell peppers, thinly sliced. 1 cup red onion, thinly sliced. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup sliced black olives. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon chili powder. 1 teaspoon cumin. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Warm your oven up to 475F 245C and put a baking sheet or pizza stone inside to get hot. Put olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-high heat. Slice the red onion and bell pepper and add them. It will take about 5 to 7 minutes of cooking until they start to get soft and a little charred. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, paprika, and garlic powder after adding it to the pan. The spices should be well mixed into the chicken and vegetables. Keep cooking for two to three minutes more, until everything is hot. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into the shape you want. Take the hot baking sheet or pizza stone out of the oven and carefully place the rolled-out pizza dough on it. Fire-roasted tomato sauce should be spread out evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small edge for the crust. Add the shreds of mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce. Cover the cheese with the chicken and fajita vegetable mixture. On top, put the black olives that have been cut up. After the oven is hot, put the pizza in it and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned. Take the pizza out of the oven and give it a minute or two to cool down. Add fresh cilantro leaves on top and cut into pieces. Enjoy your tasty Chicken Fajita Pizza with Fire-Roasted Tomato Sauce while it's still hot!
