What a week. Chick at work quit, had to take two days off because Mom is sick and now in the hospital (such a long story), dude across the street called the cops on me because apparently I HEXED HIS AZALEAS. Wanted nothing more than to give in and order a pizza. But as I was looking through my pics I came across @craftworkdetroit 's sushi pic and got inspired. This is my version of a rice bowl...when I ran out of rice. Rice noodles, seaweed reconstituted with fresh lemon juice, fake crab (it's a comfort food thing) and some buttery fresh avocado. Yes, yes, I know pickled ginger is supposed to cleanse the palette...pallete...whatever. You do you and I'll do me. Oh, not pictured is a dressing made of soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, wasabi (yes I know, never mix...), a hit of honey and some fresh lemon juice. #fakesushi #comfortfood #mypicturessuck #howisthismylife #unintentionalwitchcraft #weirdneighbors (at Melvindale, Michigan)
