For your birthday, have a question about your boy: Does Fal celebrate his birthday? If so, what would be his ideal birthday celebration?

Well, since Fal was a doorstep baby, he doesn’t know when exactly he was born, just that it was probably sometime in late spring. His adoptive parents considered his birthday to be the day they found him, but at this point Fal has forgotten what that day was. It’s not like they had a wall calendar, so keeping track of what day it was wasn’t that easy or even really relevant for a lil kid.

Therefore, every spring, he celebrates his birthday for a period of 2-3 weeks. His ideal birthday celebration is accumulating as much free stuff as possible, and being the center of attention of course. So basically, lots of people (preferably ones he won’t have to face the next morning. or ever again), big and loud party, attention, free shit.

How is Fal with making friends? I know he likes to be the center of attention so would he like making friends for that reason? Do you know how things will work out for him in the future (or is that still at the mercy of the campaign?), I'm hoping things work out okay for this disaster man :'>

I think Fal can be pretty good at making friends, but he’s not good at keeping them, or caring for them. The majority of his friendships are very short-lived. He can’t be assed to put in the emotional labor it takes to maintain a friendship, and he doesn’t really care enough to stay in contact with anyone. He’s a lazy and dumb man. But nevertheless he likes to make sure that those who meet him never forget him. :’) And yea his future is still very much at the mercy of his campaign. I’m hoping things work out too. :’)

Why does Fal love praise and recognition so much? How well do you think this is gonna work out in the long run?

I think it’s a combination of not having gotten enough positive attention as a child, covering up insecurities (he might be trying to convince himself about his greatness almost as much as he tries to convince other people), and just because he simply loves being the center of attention. If he can’t have positive attention, he’ll take negative attention. :’) It could be likely to bite him in the ass at some point, tho I’m not sure how yet. But yea, I mean getting praise just feels hella good, and he’ll just spew the wildest lies to get it if he has to.

Asks? Sure! Can Fal cook? What's his favorite food! Favorite holiday? Does he like to swim/can he swim? What's something he's proud of! These were random off the top of my head, feel free to answer any or none!

Hewwo! Fal is pretty much a disaster in the kitchen... His fried eggs are very crunchy. He likes spicy food! He likes any holiday that involves drinking and and having a good time. He can swim, and he likes it as long as the water is not too cold! I think he’s most proud of the cantrip he developed when he was younger, but as much as he likes to brag, it’s not something he really talks about with other people, since it’s so personal to him.

What kind of animals does fal like??

Fal doesn’t really like or get along with animals. But I guess he wouldn’t hate cats? They’re pretty independent. He wouldn’t get a pet tho. A pet would just be another responsibility, which he’d like to avoid.

Does Fal have any fave/signature spells?

Yeah!

…I noticed that I was basically writing down a list of all his spells… I need to narrow it down… I think his signature/fave offensive spells at the moment are Vicious Mockery and Shatter. And he loves Thaumaturgy, Disguise Self, and Major Image, even if I don’t end up using em that much in-game. He’s gotten a lot of use out of all of his recently acquired spells tho, Fear, Fireball, and Aura of Vitality, and I think those will grow to be pretty iconic to him. :3

What is Fal's comfort food?

Sweet liqueur. Or jam straight out of the jar. :’) Also pancakes.

Also, he’ll usually avoid eating mushrooms, but he won’t tell anyone it’s because it reminds him of home. Tho sometimes when he’s sad or has it tough he eats them for the sake of nostalgia, which tends to either make him even more emotional, or glad that he he isn’t there anymore.

I feel like fal knows about the drinking hot coffee straight from the pot thing from experience. Just hungover miserable slorp coffee

His usual hangover cure is having another drink. But I think he’s been discouraged from doing that after having moved into his current place of residence with his party. Being offered coffee instead, he’d just take the entire pot and drink from the spout. Later he’d combine the two hangover cures and secretly spike his coffee, thinking he’s a fukin genius.
