I saw him in a dream about playing D&D as this character. We were on a quest to bring back a lost magic artifact to someone powerful living in a tower made of marble and gold. At some point he refused to return the artifact and decided to betray the party.

They fought inside the tower and that's when he revealed the details I wrote on his drawing. During the fight the tower got a lot of statues along its staircase and resembled a giant fountain. At the end he got the artifact and stood on the base of the tower as it began to flood. And then I woke up.

Benny: I-- Edel-- Let me help you. There has to be a way. It's not too late. It can't be.

As he is saying this, Edel, you... see Benny, in front of you. And then behind him, further away, where you came from, you see the empty gallows. Well, they were empty. They’re not empty anymore. The carriage passes, and you see a body hanging there, lifeless, grey, and the breeze turning it slowly. And as Benny is speaking, the figure is recognizable to you. It is the lifeless face of your friend, Sir Benicio.

mostly I wanted to draw Edel lunging at Benny in a panic and Benny reflexively folding his free arm around them to turn and see what they were looking at, and then somehow a whole illustration happened~
