A flavorful twist on a classic turkey burger, this Falafel Spiced Turkey Burger is infused with Middle Eastern flavors. The combination of ground turkey, aromatic spices, and tahini sauce creates a mouthwatering burger that's perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground turkey. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 whole wheat burger buns. Tahini sauce for serving. Lettuce, tomato, and cucumber slices for garnish.
Instructions: Ground turkey, breadcrumbs, red onion, minced garlic, cilantro, ground cumin, ground coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Combine the parts until they are well mixed. Cut the mixture into four equal parts and use your hands to form them into burger patties. Set a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat to get it hot. Place the turkey burger patties on the grill. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, or until they are done and have nice grill marks. For about a minute or two, toast the whole wheat burger buns on the grill until they are warm and just a little crispy while the burgers are cooking. Take the turkey burgers off the grill when they are done. Spread a lot of tahini sauce on the bottom half of each bun before putting the burgers together. On top of the sauce, put a turkey burger patty. Then, add slices of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. Put the other half of the bun on top and serve. Have fun with your tasty Falafel Spiced Turkey Burger!
